Rostrum Club 50
Rostrum Sundown Club 50 will train, coach, and support you to participate effectively in meetings and become a confident communicator.
| HOW? Rostrum is a public speaking organisation designed to boost confidence in all areas of life. It works through 3 levels of public speaking development, starting with beginner exercises. Each exercise is given constructive feedback via an Accredited Critic, a senior member who has been trained in building confidence in public speakers of all levels. |
WHAT HAPPENS THERE? Included in an average meeting is a variety of speaking exercises for members of differing abilities and experience. These include prepared speeches of less than 10 minutes, impromptu speeches (with little or no notice), answering questions, Club business, exercises in Chairing a part or full meeting, reading loud, speaking competitions, debating, demonstrations, the list goes on… Topics are general and include opportunities from telling a story, a life experience, educational with an outcome to inform or persuade. WHO ARE THE MEMBERS? Rostrum Sundown Club 50 has members of all different levels, ages, backgrounds and a mixture of personalities. There are a variety of people to make you feel comfortable during your speaking development. We have several Accredited Critics to provide mentoring, advice and support, to all speakers, whether they are starting out and up to experienced speakers. |
