Rostrum Voice of Youth gives you a platform to have your voice heard.
Rostrum Voice of Youth is a national speaking competition which provides an excellent opportunity for secondary school students to gain experience and confidence in expressing their views and communicating a message. Students first participate at a regional level. Regional winners go on to participate in the State Final. State winners will compete at the National Final to be held in Sydney.
Contestants are required to present:
A prepared speech:
6 minutes - JUNIORS (aged 11 years as at 1/1/22 and in years 7, 8 or 9)
8 minutes - SENIORS (under 18 years as at 1/1/22 and in years 10, 11 or 12)
A short notice speech - 3 minutes - Juniors & Seniors, preparation time of 15 minutes.

There is a $10 non-refundable entry fee payable via direct deposit. This needs to be submitted to the State Coordinator along with the consent form by the closing date. You will receive the consent form and payment details in an email when you register.
