Jack Oates Pryor from Scotch Oakburn College won the senior section with Eloise Piper from the Leighland Christian School as runner-up. The winner of the junior section was Grace Gregson from St Michael’s Collegiate with Maggie Robinson from St Mary’s College as runner up.
Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions, the National Final in Adelaide had to be cancelled. Instead, an adjudication panel reviewed the recordings of the winning speeches from the State Finals to determine the National winners. Lili from SA and Lucy from NSW were declared the winners. An online presentation was held which featured photos from the state competitions and a compilation video of the speeches. Grace and Jack received a runners-up medallion, along with a certificate, prize money and gifts. A wonderful conclusion to an extraordinary year.
