BE INVOLVED IN ROSTRUM VOICE OF YOUTH IN 2022.
Our primary aim is to protect the health, safety and well-being of all those involved in the competition as competitors, officials, teachers or supporters. Accordingly, please note that by entering the Voice of Youth, you are agreeing to abide by the COVID-Safe protocols of the competition and of the individual schools hosting the heats. Further details will be provided prior to each heat / final.
When you enter the Rostrum Voice of Youth you will choose a speech topic from the supplied list and select the heat in your closest regional centre.
If more than ten students from your school wish to take part in your section: Junior (over 11 years of age as at 1 January 2022 and in years 7, 8 or 9) or senior (under 18 years of age as at 1 January 2022 and in years 10, 11 or 12) there will need to be a school final.
Entries must be made online.

Entry Fee
There is a $20 entry fee. This needs to be sent to the State Coordinator along with the consent form. You will receive the consent form and payment details in an email when you register.
Closing Dates
Please note that the closing date for entries varies depending on which heat/ venue students are participating at.
Great Prizes
1st prize - $200, 2nd prize - $100
State winners also get a free trip to Sydney to participate in the National Final on Saturday, 30 July 2022.
